Texas RE will be engaging registered entities in multiple Self-Certifications and Compliance Audits that will concentrate on the risks associated with Facility Ratings as defined in FAC-008. In many cases these will be single Requirement engagements that will enable proper focus by the registered entity and Texas RE’s Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (CMEP) staff. These engagements will be risk-based with an emphasis on entities that have not had a CMEP activity related to Facility Ratings since 2017. Texas RE will continue to support registered entities implementing their own risk-based Facility Ratings programs and the resolution of Facility Ratings noncompliance using existing tools. Registered entities should develop or continue approaches for self-assessment and risk-based prioritization.
