REMINDER: Energy Reliability Assessment Task Force (ERATF) Update on the Revised SARs Webinar

Summary:

In December 2021, the ERATF prepared a Standard Authorization Request and conducted an outreach plan and gather comments. The SAR is aimed at enabling stakeholders to identify energy deficit risks and develop mitigations from energy-constrained resources. In addition, an industry workshop was conducted on February 16, 2022. During the SAR review and feedback meetings, the task force noted that there were three major themes in the comments - regional/market issues, jurisdictional parameters and the need for more technical support and specificity. Based on the comments, the SAR has been enhanced and two SARs were create; a Planning SAR and an Operations/Operations Planning SAR. In addition, key vocabulary words were identified and proposed working definitions have been created by the task force. This informational webinar is intended to detail the two new SARs: the Planning SAR and the Operations/Operational Planning SAR, and to answer questions that industry has concerning the revisions. The webinar is scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern).
