FERC Cleaner, Easier-to-use eLibrary

FERC maintains "eLibrary" as the document repository for important regulatory documents such as filings, orders, and so on. Being familiar with this resource can be important when looking for particular regulatory information within the jurisdiction of FERC.
The new eLibrary eliminates redundancy by combining the five old search forms into three:

• General Search
• Docket Search
• New Docket Only Search

General Search combines the capabilities of the old General, Daily, and Advanced Search pages into one form that uses drop-down boxes, text entry fields, and other fields. You can search by criteria such as reference number (e.g., docket or accession number), date range, keywords, and more.
Docket Search allows you to search for files based on a specific docket number and a Filed Date range. New Docket Only searches repositories outside of eLibrary for new dockets using a date range of up to 10 days. You can generate a search as recent as the current day and as far back as 6/6/2004.
FERC’s eLibrary is a records information system that contains

• electronic versions of documents issued by FERC from 1989-Present.
• documents received and issued by FERC.
• a description/index of documents from 1981-Present.
• microfilm and aperture cards of documents for 1981-1995.
• scanned images of paper documents from 1995-Present.
• native files electronically submitted from November 2000-Present.

FERC’s eLibrary provides

• powerful search capabilities, including the ability to search the text of recent, scanned documents using optical character recognition.
• desk-top access to electronic filings and issuances, scanned documents, and large format maps.
• several file formats for accessing and downloading documents.
